Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Rentivra (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, landlords, tenants, custodians, and others who access or use the Service across Africa.

2. Description of Service

Rentivra is a property management platform designed to facilitate communication, rent collection, reporting, and management between landlords, tenants, and property managers/custodians. We provide the tools for invoice generation, receipt tracking, and notifications.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.

• You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service.
• You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.
• You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Plans"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis (such as monthly or annually), depending on the type of subscription plan you select when purchasing a Subscription.

Rent payments processed through the platform between landlords and tenants are separate from our subscription fees. Rentivra is not a party to the lease agreement between landlords and tenants.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, post, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Upload, post, or transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Rentivra and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the relevant African nations and foreign countries.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Rentivra, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact us for account deletion.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
